Cucinare è più semplice se sfruttiamo un preziosissimo alleato in cucina: il freezer!
L’idea che sta alla base di un MEAL PREP PER IL FREEZER è proprio quella di avere a portata di mano le basi per impostare una cena super genuina, una merenda, uno snack o un dolce in poco tempo!
Con queste “basi” già pronte in freezer e una dispensa e un frigorifero ben organizzati, non avrete mai nessun problema a portare in tavola un pasto completo per la tutta la famiglia!
Come organizzare un meal prep freezer?
Ci sono due modi per organizzare un meal prep per il freezer: potete scegliere una giornata di spesa e dedicare il tempo necessario a cucinare, lavare, tagliare e preparare le basi da surgelare tutte in una volta sola, oppure potete aumentare le dosi quando preparate qualcosa di speciale come il ragù o fate il pesto di basilico fresco a fine estate, e metterne via una parte per i mesi invernali.
Mano a mano che utilizzate le scorte del vostro freezer potete organizzarvi e aggiungere quello che manca!
ECCO 10 CIBI DA AVERE SEMPRE A PORTATA DI MANO NEL FREEZER DI CASA:
Tutto fatto in casa da noi, quando abbiamo tempo o surgelato e pronto per essere cucinato!
1. Sughi pronti
2. Base per soffritto
3. Verdura cruda già lavata e tagliata
4. Frutta dolce e frutti di bosco
5. Erbe aromatiche fresche
6. Basi per torte dolci e salate
7. Pane fresco
8. Piatti pronti
9. Legumi già cotti
10. Carne e pesce
1. SUGHI PRONTI! Dal ragù di lenticchie, al pesto alla genovese possiamo davvero sbizzarrirci e riempire il freezer di condimenti stagionali preparati con calma in anticipo, per poter improvvisare un primo piatto in 10 minuti!
2. SOFFRITTO! Io preparo sempre due basi per soffritto. Una di sola cipolla già tagliata e pronta per l’uso e l’altra con cipolla, carota e sedano anch’essi pronti per essere utilizzati. Li surgelo in sacchetto computabili adatti al freezer che trovo molto pratici. A chi piace, anche l’aglio pulito e tritato è utilissimo!
3. VERDURA CRUDA GIA’ LAVATA E TAGLIATA! Avendo sufficiente spazio si può scegliere se surgelare la verdura suddivisa per tipologia, già pulita e pronta per essere cucinata, oppure si possono fare dei pratici sacchetti di mix di verdura per una vellutata o un minestrone di stagione!
4. FRUTTA DOLCE E FRUTTI DI BOSCO! Pesche, mango siciliani, banane, fragole, lamponi e mirtilli non possono mancare nel mio freezer. Li conservo per ogni occasione! Usati per decorare una bowl di yogurt vegetale e granola, nei muffii o da aggiungere a un frullato. In estate frullati sul momenti diventano un gelato buonissimo e senza zuccheri aggiunti né latticini perfetto per la merenda dei bimbi!
5. ERBE AROMATICHE FRESCHE! Io non so cosa farei senza il basilico e il prezzemolo freschi! Se posso li uso tutto l’anno e senza freezer non sarebbe possibile.
6. BASI PER PIZZA, TORTE DOLCI E SALATE. In questo caso bisogna ricordarsi di toglierle dal freezer per tempo ma la frolla surgelata non ha niente da meno di quella appena fatta!
7. PANE FRESCO! Il pane surgelato è un must. Può sempre essere utile! Anche pizzette e focaccine possono sempre tornare utili per una merenda o uno spuntino!
8. PIATTI PRONTI! Una bella teglia di lasagne che abbiamo preparato in più la vigilia di Natale per esempio può essere il perfetto salvacena per la felicità dei commensali!
9. LEGUMI GIA’ COTTI! Ci vuole solitamente un po’ di tempo per cuocere i legumi. Quando lo facciamo vale sicuramente la pena aumentare le dosi e surgelarne una parte per le giornate frettolose!
10. CARNE E PESCE! Per chi non è vegetariano o vegano anche avere carne e pesce surgelati può essere utile per improvvisare un secondo gustoso o per fare un brodo per una finestrina!
CONSIGLIO GREEN!
Utilizza per surgelare solo contenitori ecologici e se scegli i sacchetti gelo usa e getta, indirizzati se puoi verso quelli compostabili!
