Fa così caldo, in questi giorni, che un estratto fresco e dolce diventa la merenda o lo spuntino estivo perfetto.
E’ buonissimo e pieno di vitamine, sali minerali ed enzimi vivi!
Faccio più spesso estratti di verdura che di frutta, mentre quest’ultima la frullo,
per mantenere più fibra e avere meno apporto immediato di zuccheri, anche se buoni.
Però oggi questo succo l’ho fatto usando il filtro Hurom a maglia larga
e il risultato è stato un succo denso e vellutato da leccarsi i baffi!
Un estratto semplice e di stagione a base di carote, pesche e susine dorate a cui ho aggiunto foglie fresche e fiori di Nasturzio, un concentrato di vitamina C!
Tutto sui toni giallo-arancio, pigmenti che contraddistinguono gli alimenti ricchi in carotenoidi, che sono potenti antiossidanti.
Ho messo la frutta in frigorifero questa mattina così il succo e’ risultato fresco al punto giusto, piacevole e dissetante.
INGREDIENTI:
4 CAROTE
4 PESCHE PICCOLE
6 PRUGNE DOLCISSIME
1 MANCIATA DI FOGLIE DI NASTURZIO (facoltativa)
Ho aggiunto al succo come decorazione finale tre fiori di Nasturzio, che, neanche a farlo apposta, si abbinavano perfettamente con le calde tonalità di colori brillanti dell’estratto!
Da quando ho scoperto che i fiori di Nasturzio sono edibili e ricchi di vitamina C, avendo le aiuole del giardino piene, li metto davvero ovunque!
Le foglie del Nasturzio per esempio sono buonissime in insalata!
E fanno molto bene!
